Having been appointed D&B contractor for the heat network at Colindale Gardens, Kantor successfully delivered the 21 MWt Energy Centre and first network phase in 2019. In 2024 we continue to build out the wider network, which will ultimately supply approx. 4,000 homes.
Baddesley Energy from Waste Facility, Atherstone, England
Acting as EPC Contractor, Kantor successfully delivered this 10.5MWe energy from waste (EFW) power plant, which converts over 100,000 tonnes per annum of refuse derived fuel (RDF) to grid electricity. We have also operated and maintained the plant since its handover in 2021.
Holbrook Biomass Power Plant, Sheffield, England
This novel plant, converting over 60,000 tonnes of biomass fuel to 7MWe grid electricity via an innovative ‘organic rankine cycle’ (ORC) system was delivered as a turnkey EPC project by Kantor in 2017, meeting the deadline and requirements for Renewable Obligation support.
